I graduated in 2007 Masters of Education at Ohio University in Education with a specialty in Middle School Math and Science with a GPA of 3.98. I graduated in 2010. I took many courses relevant to education and childhood development. I was also the head coach for the rowing team at Ohio University

Experience

I received a 27 on my ACT and an 1100 on my SAT in 2002. I have been a certified teacher for the past 5 years and have been tutoring all along. I would love to be a tutor because I love working with students and there is no better feeling than getting a student to feel confident in a subject that they have had a tendency to struggle with. I've taught 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. I've received awards for my ability to raise student test scores. I've taken many relevant classes. Not only all the classes in my Masters program for education, but I also specialized in childhood development in my undergraduate program as well.

Hobbies

I love to teach, but in addition to that, I have many other hobbies. I am a former college athlete. I went to Ohio State on a Rowing Scholarship. After college, I continued on to become a runner. I ran the Boston Marathon, and I love inspiring young minds to follow their dreams. I also love music. I am a fan of all different kinds of music and I in fact play the flute myself. I am an animal lover - I have a small dog whom I adore and have had for nearly 9 years. I am also a big family person, I am the oldest of 6 siblings and I am very close with all of them. There are many more things I could discuss about myself and would love the opportunity to do so!
